I am 5'4" 118 pounds and I wear a size Small in everything. I purchased the Small Vintage Boutique Overalls and was really excited to get overalls in a fun floral print with features that looked well thought out as I am a full-time potter (50 years experience) and have a 30 acre property with orchards and gardens I maintain- Needless to say, I live in work-clothing such as what Rosies Workwear make. The Small that was sent to me is HUGE! Even with the straps completely shortened, the pant legs are 3" too long. The waist sticks out in all directions like I'm in a bucket and the crotch is almost down to my knees. Clearly something is wrong with the sizing. I have written several times to Rosies and no one has gotten back to me. There is no phone number contact in which to reach customer service either. This purchase is a "final sale" which would be fine IF I had actually gotten something that was the right size and not overalls that a 5"8 200 pound person would wear. As it is, I simply cant even try to wear them as I am drowning in material. I am so unhappy and disappointed having spent hard earned money on something that is worthless to me. These overalls had such potential and again, I was so happy to maybe have some fun workwear. I also am a small business and do not like to write reviews like this, but that's the bottom line.
These overalls are a lighter weight material than the other overalls I have purchased from Rosie's. The do not have pockets on the back which I rarely use on my other overalls. They also do not have the handy side pocket on the leg which I use all the time for my pruners. However, the lighter weight will do well in warmer weather. These are stylish, fun and comfortable enough to wear around casually. I don't think the fabric will hold up as well as the regular overalls but that's why you need more than one pair. These can be my "dress up" overalls.
I absolutely love my overalls and knee pads. It’s great that they can covert into shorts, too.
The customer service is outstanding.
I can’t wait to order another pair in a different color.
